The
building facing Narrow Street was listed Grade II, but the
yard at the back, formerly used as a repair workshop
for Thames sailing barges, was derelict. Anthony Paine developed
a scheme to form 8 new apartments and a penthouse,
renovating the listed part and producing a new design for
the rear buildings facing The Thames, drawing inspiration
from traditional riverside warehouse vernacular buildings. |
